Post 1 of my training blog. The purpose of this blog is to document my training and swimming journey.
Currently we are in the middle of a pandemic and National lockdown - pools and gyms are closed.
My training regime consistents of a sea swim (20-40 minutes), running or cycling, light weights or resistance band work and yoga/flexibility work.
My land training session today featured a 5 km light aerobic run followed by single arm work to help reduce the pressure on my right shoulder as I am currently managing an inflamation injury. After work I will manage a 20 minute sea swim (aiming for 1000m) and 15 minutes of yoga.
